South Carolina State University’s track teams achieved strong finishes at this year’s Mid-Eastern Athletic Conference Outdoor Championships. The men’s squad placed second—its best result since 1993—while several athletes set records or won individual titles.
Men’s basketball teams from Sumter County received $84,127 during the 2024 season, down 42.4% from the previous year.
Women’s basketball teams from Orangeburg County received $1,785,605 during the 2024 season, up 14.2% from the previous year.
