Twelve student-athletes from South Carolina State University were named to the 2026 Tennis All-Academic Team, the Mid-Eastern Athletic Conference (MEAC) announced on April 30.

The recognition highlights academic achievement among tennis players in the conference. The MEAC honored a total of 61 student-athletes from its eight member institutions for their performance during the 2025-26 academic year.

Eligibility for the All-Academic accolades is extended to sophomore, junior, and senior student-athletes who maintain a cumulative grade point average of at least 3.0. Transfer students who have been enrolled at their institution for at least one year are also eligible.

South Carolina State’s honorees include Nithisbaalaji Latha Nallusamy, Rick Nieke, and Milica Dobrosavljevic. Other institutions with honorees include Coppin State with seven selections, Delaware State with three, Howard with eight, Morgan State and Norfolk State each with nine, and North Carolina Central leading with thirteen.

The MEAC’s annual recognition aims to celebrate both athletic and academic success among its student-athletes. The announcement underscores the conference’s ongoing commitment to supporting education alongside sports.
