On Friday, March 21, former East Clarendon Middle/High School standout Talaysia Cooper’s current collegiate team the Tennessee Lady Volunteers won 101-66 against the South Florida Bulls in the NCAA Division I Basketball Championship Tournament.
Hosted in Value City Arena at The Jerome Schottenstein Center, this was the first game against the South Florida Bulls during the championship.
The Tennessee Lady Volunteers’ next game will take place on Sunday, March 23 at 8 p.m. in Value City Arena at The Jerome Schottenstein Center against Ohio State Buckeyes.
Talaysia Cooper’s hometown is Turbeville and game position is guard.
