Learn the skills necessary to prepare home canned tomato products in this hands-on class. Current USDA recommended methods for using the waterbath and steam canners will be taught and practiced. Participants will receive items prepared in class and handouts. Dress code: Wear short sleeves and comfortable, closed-toe shoes. Participants should bring a snack or light lunch. Class size is limited to 10 persons.
