Seven CCTC Mechatronics students recently took the Level 1 SIEMENS PLC Certification test, and all passed, yielding a 100% success rate. Mechatronics instructor Chuck Scott volunteered his time to help these students prepare for the test.
The SIEMENS Corporation is the world leader in industrial automation products. Years ago, they recognized the importance of technical competence in industrial operations and invested in the creation of a “Mechatronics University.” Today, they make training available to mechatronic instructors so that their curriculum can reach a global audience.
