City of Orangeburg issued the following announcement on February 22.
Lower Savannah Council of Governments (LSCOG) will be updating its Regional Bicycle and Pedestrian Plan this year. This document is used to identify bicycle and pedestrian projects for future funding and is used by the South Carolina Department of Transportation (SCDOT) to develop their Bicycle and Pedestrian Safety Plan and as a guide to identify areas of need for various projects and maintenance. In order to develop this, we need your input and have developed a survey to get a better understanding of the community’s transportation needs.
