Central Carolina Technical College issued the following announcement on November 18.
Each year during the holidays we take time to reflect and give thanks, many times over a home-cooked meal.
To aid our students, CCTC's Counseling and Student Life Services department created the Thanksgiving Assistance Program. This program provides qualifying students with a box full of Thanksgiving groceries, including a turkey.
Thank you to Pilgrim's Pride for donating $500 to help make this a successful program. This year, we were so happy to help 35 students and their families and we hope that everyone has a wonderful Thanksgiving holiday.
