City of Orangeburg issued the following announcement on August 20.
Anyone needing to dispose of medications may do so safely at the Department of Public Safety. A medication disposal box is located in the department's lobby at 1320 Middleton St. .
This equipment was purchased by grant funding through the Comprehensive Secure and Responsible Drug Disposal Program administered by the Institute for Intergovernmental Research.
