City of Sumter, South Carolina issued the following announcement on August 7.
Mayor Merchant attended the Global Leadership Summit this week, where he along with other local leaders were given an opportunity to share their vision and challenges they have experienced as a leader.
He encouraged all attendees to get involved in committees and organizations in their community to help shape our collective future. Additionally, he talked about how the city is working with private investors and foundations to be more innovative in accomplishing projects around the community.
