City of Sumter, South Carolina issued the following announcement on August 11.
The 14th annual Palmetto Games will be returning to Riley Park for the second straight year on August 14th and 15th.
The top high school baseball players from the 864, 843 and 803 area codes will be participating on an invitation basis only. Many professional and college scouts are expected to be in attendance.
Check in and registration will begin on Saturday at 8:30 AM with games being played all afternoon. Sunday events will begin at 9 AM and the final game is scheduled for 3:30 PM.
Fee for admission will be $20 for a weekend pass or $15 for a day pass. Ages 10 and under are free. Come out and see some of the best high school players in the state of South Carolina compete at Riley Park!
