The agency's National Center for Education Statistics shows the public institution in Orangeburg conferred 38 bachelor's degrees and 27 master's degrees in education programs.
But the single most popular program was for a bachelor's degree in general biology/biological sciences. Data shows the school gave out 42 bachelor's degrees in general biology/biological sciences, followed by 28 bachelor's degrees in general family and consumer sciences/human sciences and 25 bachelor's degrees in physical education teaching and coaching.
The university enrolled 3,022 students for 2017-18, including 2,430 in undergraduate programs and 592 in graduate programs.
