Morris College enrolls 649 undergrads

At Morris College, 90 percent of undergraduate students are traditional students - age 24 or younger - and 60 percent are female, according to the latest disclosure from the U.S. Department of Education.

The four-year private not-for-profit institution in Sumter enrolled 649 students in fall 2018, all in undergraduate programs, data shows. 6 percent of undergraduates transferred from another college or university.

87 percent of undergraduates are residents of South Carolina, and 12 percent are residents of other states. 1 percent are citizens of foreign countries.

The undergraduate student body is comprised mostly of students who identify as Black or African American (95 percent) and two or more races (1 percent).
