The South Carolina State men’s tennis team will compete in the Mid-Eastern Athletic Conference (MEAC) semifinals against Howard on April 24 at the Cary Tennis Center. The match is scheduled to begin at noon.

This matchup is significant as South Carolina State enters as the top seed after achieving an undefeated record of 5-0 in league play and winning the MEAC Men’s Tennis Regular Season Title. The Bulldogs currently hold an overall record of 11-7 and are looking to defend their conference crown.

Howard reached the semifinals by defeating Morgan State with a close score of 4-3 in the quarterfinals. Earlier this season, South Carolina State and Howard faced each other during the MEAC Roundup in Norfolk, Virginia, where South Carolina State won decisively with a score of 7-0.

South Carolina State University participates at the National Collegiate Athletic Association Division I level, fielding teams across fourteen sports. All teams except women’s soccer compete within the MEAC.
