The USTA Pro Circuit women’s season continues with the Palmetto Pro Open, a USTA Pro Circuit W60 event taking place from June 12-18 at the Palmetto Tennis Center in Sumter, S.C.

This is the first of four W60 events that are part of the USTA Pro Circuit’s summer hard-court swing ahead of the US Open. This is the first year Sumter has hosted a W60 event after hosting successful lower-level events dating back to 2008. Americans have won the singles title in Sumter in six consecutive years. Notable former champions include Sophie Chang (2022), Peyton Stearns (2021), and Taylor Townsend (2018).

This year look out for the talented 17-year-old Liv Hovde, who won her third professional title of her career last month. She is the reigning Wimbledon girls’ singles champion. Also in the field is veteran American Grace Min, who qualified and reached the semifinals at the W60 event in Charlottesville in April.
