On Saturday, Feb. 1, former Orangeburg Preparatory School standout Payton Schurlknight’s current college team, the Lander Bearcats, won 4-2 in their NCAA Division II softball game against the Wingate Bulldogs.

The game took place at Doug Spears Field. This was their first matchup against the Bulldogs this season.

The Bearcats’ next game is scheduled for Saturday, Feb. 1 at 3 p.m. at Doug Spears Field against Wingate Bulldogs.
