South Carolina State Lady Bulldogs ended their softball season with an 11-2 loss to Howard University in the MEAC Championship game. The team set several records this year under new head coach Nakeya Hall and looks forward to building on this success next season.
During the week beginning Monday, May 11, this former Midland South Carolina area high school athlete will be in action.
South Carolina State Bulldogs secured a spot in the MEAC Softball Championship rematch after defeating Delaware State Hornets 3-1. Pitcher Dymond Round led her team by allowing just one run across seven innings. The Bulldogs will now face top-seeded Howard Bison.
